Cash tool
13-Week Cash Runway Snapshot.
Built on the Gevity 13-week method: start with real cash, map what comes in and goes out each week, and find the low point before it finds you.
About your figures. The amounts you enter in this calculator, and the results it calculates, stay in this browser tab. The calculator does not submit, save, or send them, and reloading the page clears them. Like the rest of this site, this page may use analytics as described in our Privacy Policy. From the calculator itself, analytics receive only whether it was started or completed, the attention level and scenario shown, and which link was selected, never any amounts.
Your reconciled bank balance: cash actually in your operating accounts today, after deposits and checks have cleared. Not revenue, profit, or money customers still owe you.
Unused credit lines aren't counted as cash. If you plan to draw on a line, add it as a one-time 'Loan or credit draw.'
Cash that actually lands in the bank in a normal week. Use what you reliably collect, not what you invoice. Add large or unusual receipts under "Add known timing."
Cash that leaves the bank in a normal week. If you add payroll, loan payments, or taxes below, leave them out of this figure so they are not counted twice.
The lowest balance you'd like to keep for surprises. We start it at one typical week of your disbursements as a planning preference, not a rule every business should follow. Change it to whatever fits your business.
Suggested: one typical week of your disbursements. Enter your weekly disbursements to calculate it.

Planning estimate, not advice. The 13-Week Cash Runway Snapshot is an educational tool. Its results are planning estimates based entirely on the figures and assumptions you supply, and actual cash will differ when those figures or their timing differ. It does not provide accounting, tax, lending, investment, legal, or financial advice, and it is not an assessment of solvency, financial health, or creditworthiness.
